What part of “GET SOME” do you not understand?

Update: Tonight the Atlantians… then the Users… then the Demons… then building out the class weapons…then the weapon and spell effects… =)

The plan is to get them all in game and then focus on the ones that need more artistic make overs or optimizations due to their loads on the CPU and GPU

    1. Like every piece of software it has its hangups.
      Pros:
FREE! not 7 grand like Maya
Lots of info on the web.
      Easy to learn
So far I have found nothing that it cannot do that a major package does for my needs.
The scripting interface is AMAZINGLY easy to learn and use (EXCEPT FOR CHARACTER ANIMATIONS THAT TOOK A LOT OF TIME)..

      Cons:
-The interface has some hangups in modeling I do not like. I am not sure if I can change them. For example to do a window select you have to press B first then to start a new selection you hve to clear by pressing A twice then B again to pick more. That is very slow. Moving verts should not require the keyboard to help with speed. I could be doing it wrong though as I am pretty new with blender as apposed to Max (15 years back to 3d Studio) and Maya ( About 12 years when it was first released from Alias Wave-front).
-The material system really can be confusing when compared to other software out there.

Over all I do not miss Maya or Max at all really. (And as far as scripting I choose blender over both packages).
