Tonights goal RAIN integration.


I have finished the first armor mesh and rigged it. I am REALLY happy with it in game =).. and I cannot wait to make the much beefier tank like meshes later =)… What I need to do is add the Rain AI as a child I am not expecting it to be to difficult but we shall see… After that I will animate the blood zombies correctly. Then I will need to get the elevator working in game and start putting the game together!… Wow amazing how fast this is going… Once I get the overall game working as far as going from the port into the base and back out I will start the other items I need for the first level. A boss, 2 more types of enemies. Some weapons, etc… fill out the game and the story! It is going great!

Really not sure I bet smaller then the last as unity culls off stuff not used where my old engine did not and a lot of extra stuff was there I had no good way of know if it was used or not with apples old bundle system and my implementation … Basically big enough to be awesome but small as is possible 😉 it will not be as big as some of those huge games out there

  1. One of the games I play on my phone, Battle for Wesnoth, does something interesting when it comes to space. When you open the game App for the first time, it will prompt you to chose what you want to download. “Do you want to download just the maps?” or “Do you want to download the voice pack and music pack too?” So maybe, provide it as a choice for player because I know sometimes, like me, I just do not turn on the sound because I am waiting in line or its to noise to hear anyways. 🙂

    1. I like this idea too ryanmitchellgames, and think that it should be extended to where you can choose the graphics package to download (something like low, med, high) for those people with 8gb devices (like me)

      1. Ok I will investigate it…. I am sure I can think of something. In all reality the levels are built off of pieces automatically thus it should make the game much much smaller then most =)..
