Adding story assets etc…

It is amazingly easy to add assets now. I am really excited about adding in the story and items, however I am far more excited to start adding in the story and cut scenes for the main story arc next!… Finally starting to get there!….

Here is a fully fleshed out item created from 3 different parts that all add to make its story and stats.

    Wow……. it’s been a while since i looked at these posts. Now look where we are: RIFLES!

    Also how do you get the weapons to be procedurally generated? I want to start working on my own game soon.

      sorry for the delay! I had an early thanksgiving…
      The are based off prefabs.. so there are 3 parts and tohse parts can have moving parts and effects. So each item in the game is created by words…. Carving Blaster if doom. Carving is the stock, blaster is the mid piece which usually decides the projectile, of doom is the barrel. The prefabs are then injected with scripts that respond to start hold release commands. So all parts can do or add things!

        But what if I want to have a procedural weapon that doesn’t generate based on name?

        It just seems easier to have a simple name describe so much like the stats effects model etc… So much easier to maintain
