BIG night of testing tonight… The only content I have left is the cut scene audio before I give it to yall.. the last level will not be done nor the online stuff when you get it… but 53 levels of testing are =)!!!

Tonight I should be done with all but the last end game cut scenes and get back to quest testing… I hope to be complete with the quest testing of the alien city soon.. then that would just leave the last levels =)… I am shipping it to you guys without the ending level… I have to leave something for final release =P
This is after I celebrate my wifes Birthday =)… she passes out around 9 pm anyway while I light the tires up on this game until past midnight every night (cannot wait to finish btw =P)

Finished all quests.
Now I have to go through and test from quest 40 on.. while doing so add spice and effects… a few days hopefully…. I am hearing my voice overs are going to finally be done soon =).. Getting close =)… Since Multi-player will be worked on post release that means when beta is over it will go to apple =)..(I need to get a few things done with multiplayer.. I want a system to get you the closest level fight at the lowest ping…)

Tier 2 here I come… things are moving much faster now… still waiting on voice overs… BUT.. I am moving quickly =).. I can’t wait to get this out to you guys… such a new and polished game.. IT really can compete with the big boys in my opinion!

Really excited to get this to yall it really is an incredible game.. I just played a few very respected un-named iDevice games and actually wanted to come back and play this one =)…that is a good sign… now t get the blasted thing done so you guys can help me polish it -)…

Update: On the final summon =).. I do not think I will post it though as there needs to be secrets =)..
After the last summon is done I will move to the final stage of the project!… I have to get all the quests in and tested! =)… Then I will have a while for polishing and testing the whole game.. I then will release the single player beta to testers while I work on the Multiplayer arena. The final stage will be the whole game as a release candidate. Then off to apple!!!

By the way I am VERY disappointed that the new ID shooter will be on rails…The way they demoed it I was hoping for so much more.. less competition for me but man I was looking forward to that…(was secretly hoping for death match but again less competition for me again so I guess thats good….bummer)

Just fixing and crossbows left…

OK I have to fix the floaters now in the game I broke them with an optimization so I have a bit of rework to do asset wise… not to bad maybe an hour.. Then I move to abilities which include summons! =)… After that I must finish the quests and cut scenes… THEN we are ready for a final single player beta!!!!… While single player beta ensues (with everyone at a very accelerated pace quest and level wise) I will finish the Arena and match making systems!… then the Release candidate goes out to testers for final approval…When approved off to the LONG LONG apple approval process.. =)

Almost done with weapons..

By the end of this weekend I will be on the cut scenes hopefully or the arena not sure… depends on the voice recordings my actor is not as motivated as I am =) (and she has 180 recordings to do -=P )

Some fun test videos while I work =).. looking good… when those bad guys start all tossing abilities at you …woa… its going to get nuts.. =) Nothing like it out there ;)…the weapons in the inventory are only 1/3 of what there is now I could not fit all of them in the inventory.. and now there are only 3 types of ammo! =)

Some guns use multiple shots per firing is the difference..

If you are new here NOTHING is done .. it is all just testing what I am working on the second video shows the Electric Rain Rifle working =).. I forgot who suggested that one.. now on to the Cross bows.. after the chain plasma,frost pistol,chain spiker,fire pistol….


Just noticed I need to add cam shake while firing this gun whoops.. I will catch it on the weapons polish run =)

Update: Still on pistols.. had to watch the rangers loose last night… back to work tonight. =) I cannot wait to get done with the weapons and make the last summons!… Reyem Neas is the only one right now.. I think he is kick A$$ and he is the weakest of the bunch! =)…

(For those new here, I do not spend time correcting grammar or the like on this blog. This is a place my brain spills out through out the day as I go so we can all toss around ideas… I do not have time to write a literary masterpiece on the blog as we have a game to make! =) .. I just wanted to apologize again for the dots and text =P BACK TO MAKING GAME! )

Update: Things are going really well. I will post the frost pistol when I finish. All I have left asset wise is the last of the pistols and the rifles… then I need to add their functionality and the skills that become available.. .I am adding a much nicer load screen (it will have a pic of the level and what has become available on that level as loot =)…) before what I am calling the final beta gets handed out. The game will be done at that point in my mind… it still has a ways to go. When I hand it out.. EVERYTHING will be accelerated so you can beat quests quickly and find issues… Then after all is done we will go for release Candidate. A final non accelerated game ready for launch.. when you guys approve it … then it ships to apple for their torturous review process =)…

It is going pretty quick I just had a busy weekend..
